"Literary Junkies"

What a busy day!  Phew...
I'm kinda being pulled in different directions today, but I still have a bit of time to join this linky party:)
A few days late, mind you...but hey it's the thought that counts, right? And it's still open...so here you go!

 

1. If you could write a book, what would it be about?

A woman who works at coffee shop and has a fulfilling life with her family.  Until one day...tum tum tuuuuuum!

2. If you had to read one book or trilogy for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I could read The Notebook over and over and...well, you get the picture.  If I was stuck reading a trilogy for the rest of my life? The Twilight Saga, for sure.  Edward...oh, Edward.

3. Who is your current favorite book character and why?

I really liked Augustus from The Fault in Our Stars.  Who wouldn't like a terminally ill boy with a heart of gold and humor and intelligence...and...swooning over here.

4. Is there a book you read every year during the holiday season? If so, what is it and why?

No..weird, right?  I have movies that I have to watch, but not books.  Anyone have any suggestions, though?

5. Do you have any books on your Christmas list? Name a few.

I want to read The Pioneer Woman's book and also have always wanted to read "Confections of a Master Baker" - lol...the title makes me laugh.

6. What is a book you read and loved that you didn't expect to?

The Millenium Series.  You know, the ones with that rough-neck chick?  Dragon Tattoo?  It took FOREVER to get through the first 5 chapters, but after that oh. my. gee!!!
