Um, it's me, Nay.
Can I come in?
Oh, thank goodness. I thought you would've forgotten me - it's been way too long.
But, HI! I'm back and, boy, was it hard to find my laptop and start typing away. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to come back without it being awkward and then Kristine suggested I do a "Year in Review" post. Genius!

So...I thought I'd start by refreshing your memory a bit. Last time I was here, I was very pregnant. About to pop actually. What would be a good way to start off? How do I start a blog post? Ugh, it's been so long...Photos! Photos to refresh that noggin of yours:) Bam! Here you go...
They're all mixed up and all in non-chronological order. But, loveys, being a new again mommy and actually sitting down at a computer is accomplishment enough. Thanks for understanding!
Annika is here as you can see. If you follow me on instagram - you know, the place that tried to kill my blog for a sec - then you'll know that she has taken over our lives in the most wonderful of ways. She's had many visitors and has seen so much in her three months of life.
Annika was a huge part of 2015, but there were so many other parts of my life that made 2015 just as awesome. I am so happy that I have met so many inspiring women through blogging. I got to see most of them at Elevate, but was surprised with a baby shower brunch by a group that I've known since Day One. The ones that couldn't be there were there in spirit for sure. After Annika was born, I got the chance to see a lot of them again.
There have been little trips to the beach, San Francisco, a new mommy group, and a book club for me. Maternity leave has filled me so much. Going back to work in February will be so weird for me. I have learned, though, that I am definitely not a stay-at-home mama type. I just can't hang! I feel like it's so much harder than what I'm used to. So props to all of you SAHMs!
2015 was one of the most amazing, eye-opening, emotional, hormonal (!) years of my life. I wouldn't change one thing. I vowed to be more present this year and I feel like I've made that effort and have reaped its rewards. I may not have been present here in this space, but my home and family have blossomed because of it.
I'm happy to be back and with you again, sweet friend. Here's to a new year with new possibilities! Thanks for joining me on my journey and letting me in on yours from time to time.
ps: I wrote a blog post!!!! (patting my own back) lol! Now go link-up, yo!
