What to Wear (Three Things Thursday)

A major goal this year is to engage this wonderful blogging community consistently. What better way than to link up with blog friends!

Together, the three of us came up with Three Things Thursday.

Just three things to talk or write about. Five seemed like too many and "one thing" was like we weren't even trying! So any three things that are on your mind. Any three pictures from Instagram. Three complaints about your day/week. Three of your favorite treats. Seriously. Any three things!  So write it. Publish it. Yell it from the mountain tops!

Just be sure you come back and link it up here! For some extra fun follow us on Instagram for some three things posts!

Use the #threethingsthursday, and let's start talking!
Absolute Mommy

Every year for the past five years, I have gone to the most amazing one-day conference.  Elevate Blog Conference is my second most happiest day of the year (my birthday is #1 - duh!).  One of my favorite parts (and the one that I think about the most for the first few months of the year) is what to wear.

I've pinning like a maniac for ideas of what I would look cute in and would be comfortable on conference day - which by the way is always a sunny, warm day.

Here's what I'm thinking...

1.  The Maxi Dress

This is what I usually wear to Elevate.  It's my go-to outfit for simple yet looking pretty sweet.  Also, it keeps me feeling cool and I don't have to think much about how to accessorize.

2. Jeans, a T-Shirt, and a Cute Accessory

I keep seeing all these cute ways to wear a t-shirt or tank with jeans and looking like a hottie.  That would make me happy.  Hottie-status is always a plus.  But maybe too casual?

3. Shorts and a Fresh Top

Shorts are always a good idea, but again...is it too casual for a blog conference?  I think if I dressed it up it might work.

What do you think?  I just want to look like I just threw something together and look great.  Know what I mean?  And I'm a plus-size girl - so something that doesn't make me look huge would be nice.

Gimme some suggestions - I've only got a month to figure this out!
(ps: All of these looks can be found on my Pinterest boards!)
